Humans

Mediocrity at its Finest

I saw white marble pillars and black marble arches. I saw massive colosseums and great armies. Then I saw what I hadn't expected. The men and women of a young republic coming together to create art not declarations of war. This was a peaceful nation that was barely in its infancy. The military was for defense in their minds, not conquest. They called their land Ozlith, the land loved by the gods, and their gods did love their people so...
Humans are one of the most varied races in the world coming in many shapes and sizes and skin tones. The humans themselves are new to the world and have only been around for a few thousand years or so.

Originating in the far south, humans trace their origins to Ozlith . They have traveled far from Lartasia to the wastes beyond The Freeholds. When Ozlith fell, humans separated into nomadic tribes, only laying roots as the world became more difficult to travel in due to Universal Vertigo in the last 800 years. As the other races began to explore they found humans everywhere they went.

The humans are adaptable but not as much so as Greenskins. They are also resiliant, but not as much as The Dwarves. They are known for their grace and dexterity, but Alfen are far superior in that regard. There is next to nothing that gives humans from other races, except their mediocrity. They are short lived, possess no unique qualities, and often lack restraint, leading to fallen empires and destroyed ecosystems, but where they lack in another races strength, the make up for by being average in the other races weaknesses.

The Blank Slate

Humans can easily handle and learn The Arcane, leading many to believe that their souls are unique in structure. Almost everything else about them is average at best, though they would say well rounded.
