World Ember Pledge in Expedition Demeter | World Anvil

World Ember Pledge

Wow, okay. So it's here again? Last time I set a task and was unable to complete it. This time will be different. I've been focusing on my novel, and the ideas have been growing every day. When December hits, I will be ready. While the pledge only requires 10k words, I always meet the goal in no time. Word count has just never been an issue for me, personally. To make it a true challenge, I pledge to write an article for each World Ember category... that ought to do it.   These articles will mostly be for my latest world, but there are articles for each of my worlds. If you wish to be notified of them, be sure to check them out, and if you like what you see, give them a follow.
Through A Black Sea: An Introduction to The Void Between

Other ideas cause my brain just won't stop...

  • Plague Ships: Vessels where the crew failed to prevent exposure upon meeting other species and traveling to other planets, these lifeless ships drift in the void like ticking time-bombs waiting to go off.
  • The Quantum Telegraph: A strange piece of earth brought with humanity on their exodus, The QT is a network of quantum computers that humanity uses to communicate, though the downsides are problematic.

Wait.   You have another world that I didn't even know existed!!! When did that happen...   (By the way, my previous comment about CSS only applies to that article. Presumably, because you have a misplaced [row], [center], or [col] type tag. There is, however, a NEW CSS issue to explore: your table becomes blinding upon hovering. Probably because it's a new feature that you haven't had time to either fix or but Oneriwen about.   I've considered my previous suggestion about journal posts and came to a conclusion: you are using articles because you have 209(I can't remember. I forgot in the past 10 minutes) followers, unlike your profile which has 41. Both numbers of which are HUGE but this one reaches more people. I would still suggest making a post about it so that people like me, who happen to be following you and The Web still are aware it exists. Speaking of which, I shall look into this world and see if the premise is as interesting as the Web and perhaps drop a follow(I'm sure the content is great, but I'm not sure I need more notifications for worlds that I ignore).   Keep up the great work and enjoy my habit of writing long comments. Oh. And.

OOOOF yes. I havn't remotely looked at tables. It's rough. You are exactly right. I do plan on doing the journals soon, once i figure out exactly how I want to do it. Thanks so much, and i hope you find something interesting in here. This was my first world and it's horribly disorganized, but its where my head goes when im in the mood for fantasy.
