Hollow Man

A hollow man is a gruesome creature whose internal organs have all replaced by an intelligent hive of insect-like creatures, that mimick the human form. The hive operates as a single entity, imitating the human whose form it has taken over in precise detail, even to preserving their personality. Hollow men (and women) are difficult to destroy in that as long as a single insect survives, they will regenerate and reform. They are rare in the city, but useful in that they are one of the few flying monsters.
