Luzia Padilla

Luzia Padilla is a terminally ill woman who has got it in her head that the only way to save her life is by becoming an immortal vampire. Because of her young daughter she desperately wants to outlive her illness. Before the revelation she was working on getting her doctorate in philosophy being extremely successful in her field but now she's resorted to throwing herself even at the creepiest of bloodsuckers in an attempt to win her favor. Luzia is a good looking woman - at least for mortal standards - but at 34 she's more than a decade older than most of the girls throwing themselves at monsters in blood doll clubs. Her desperation makes her a laughing stock and Luzia is smart so she is well aware of this. But her cancer doesn't leave her much time and so she just keeps trying harder and harder.
Wilhelm Krüger approached her and recruited her to infiltrate the black church for him. In return he promised to turn her into a vampire within four years.
