The Eunoukhos

In the metropolis of Alorith, men and women, when born, are evaluated by the Magrocacy in the city. If determined to have innate magical abilities, the babies are castrated and then trained to be a part of the royal court. Becoming a eunoukhos is a great privilege for any family in Alorith. It is considered noble and gives the family a sense of pride. The families of the child are not allowed to ever have contact with the child or let them know of their parenthood.
