Bhaasha

The Vasudhra peoples spoke a common language before the Samraaji planetfall. Until the arrival of the aliens, there was no written form as language was thought be "of the wind" and it was believed sacrilege bind the wind in a tangible form.    A Samraaji Indigenous Species Officer named Bhaasa used the Samraaji alphabet to devise a transcription method for the "primitive" language of the Vasudhrans. The Samraaji forced the Vasudhrans to learn and use the writing to record neodymium yields and worker data, and after 2 or 3  generations had passed for the humans, the stigma against written language had been suppressed.    The Vasudhran language became known as Bhaasa. A sample is shown here: भास सुबह के साम्राज्य की भाषा थी।.
