Have their own faith in a single god that is not any of the Pentatheon. This has brought them into conflict with the Church on many occasions, and there have been intermittent incidents of forcible conversion of goblins that mar the Church's history.

History

Appearing first during the reign of Caroline the Great, goblins were at first feared and hunted. Over the course of the next hundred years, goblins were captured and forced to work as slaves. Initially assigned to tasks of menial drudgery, they soon proved their cleverness as artisans in a variety of trades. After the fall of the Empire of the Sun, goblin slavery as an institution ended and they became more or less integrated into society as a free people, although often one looked down on by the other civilized species.
