This handy ritual provides the target with a new skill he does not currently have at die type equal to its linked attribute, and one additional die type with a raise (max of d12). Giving an unknown Knowledge skill to character with a Smarts of d6, for example, gives him the skill at d6, or d8 with a raise. The ritual requires a book on the subject to be transferred (a mysterious wind ruffles the pages of the book, which turn blank as the target absorbs the skill.
