The meat of the dead Blood Reavers still fresh and the taste of locust still fresh on our tongues, it was then we realised the gravity of situation. It was my quick thinking & intervention that I managed to squirrel them away from dangers untold to that bastion of cultural integrity, “The Bent Harp”, my old stomping grounds. An impromptu wrestling match and mime fight later, I did secure us decent lodgings, foods and entertainment for the night. The next day, the docks swarmed with nefarious Blood Reavers, One fancy dress parade through the docks later (the likes of which Melvaunt has never seen!) and the Bridge Burners made it back to ship unseen and unscathed. It was there I was formally inducted to the illustrious ranks of the Bridge Burners and my real story began. For it was from here on in, did my life change and I was swept up into those fateful events that would change everything across the Moonsea.

Back to the High Seas

Back aboard the Grey Hellionia, we quickly set sail once again. Our captain was not happy to see us and made sure to secure a promise of payment once we arrived in Thentia . Once calmed, the only break in the monotony of ship life was the discovery of a mysterious coffin bound in chains. Getting some seriously bad mojo from the box, they threw it back from whence it came! Dustinby did also not waste those free moments – tracking the logs and maps, he discovered a series of storms in the same time frame when they awoke the dragon Azlamorth from his slumber.
It was but 4 days into the voyage and just over half way to the mysterious that they spotted a dark shape on the horizon…. a Gargareck!
Summary

• The Bridge Burners escaped Melvaunt & the Blood Reavers hunting them
• Saramonus the Pure formally joins the Bridge Burners as their Bard
• Dustiny discovered that when Azlamorth was initially awakened, there was tremors and storms in a particular region of the Moonsea
• The ship was ambushed by a Gargareck, a magically corrupted sea creature normally found in the depths of the Moonsea. The only explanation offered was that it had been summoned for some dark purpose….
