After a long and difficult night on the town, The Bucket Brigade decide it's time to head back to The Old Oar Inn for some comfort food and deep rest. At the Inn, a dwarven bard performs to a drunken crowd. The party invites the bard to sit and share a meal and drink with them. Eventually, they become well acquainted and decide to join forces.

The members of The Bucket Brigade, after leaving the 2 men they captured with Rizfeld Halfmoon, head back to the The Old Oar Inn to catch a midnight meal and get some much needed rest. Upon arriving, they are greeted to a rambuctious crowd gathering within for some live entertainment in the form of a comedy stand-up routine from a local dwarven female bard by the name of Ebony Gray.

A very drunken crowd gathered within the The Old Oar Inn cheers and jeers along with Ebony Gray's stand-up routine. Overall, Ebony seems to struggle with keeping the crowd on her side, and a couple drunks openly boo some of her jokes, drawing further taunts, jeers, sprinkled with sporadic laughter of friend's sharing inside jokes.

As the members of the The Bucket Brigade are eventually seated at an open long table several feet from the stage, Ebony Gray begins to perform some crowd work comedy focusing on the newcomers which goes over well with everyone. The members of The Bucket Brigade barely register what's being said as they are busy getting seated and much more focused on their food. Eventually, Ebony Gray's comedy and presence is noticed by members of the The Bucket Brigade once some food and spirits lightened their overall mood. After half and hour, Ebony Gray finishes her set and begins to walk off stage.

Stella and Nimbus call out to the bard to come join them at their table for a round of drinks and Ebony Gray happily accepts the invitation to drink for free. The War Wizard, Caddell, still suffering from a nearly fatal wound, decides it's time to get some shut eye and rest up. The others, spend the next hour befriending the dwarven bard and eventually decide to make her a member of The Bucket Brigade which Ebony Gray happily accepts.
