Dagult Neverember

Dagult Neverember is a noble member of the Neverember family, and the Lord Protector of Neverwinter. He is a member of the Lords' Alliance.

Neverember has "pumpkin-brown" hair, deep-set dark eyes, and broad shoulders. He was often called a "lion of a man" for both his appearance and bearing.

According to Lady Corlinnar's family history....she's aware of Dagult.  Neverember claimed to be the descendant of Vers Never. Vers Never was supposedly the bastard son of Nasher Alagondar and brother to Bann Alagondar, who served as Neverwinter's king earlier in its history. In order to cement his relations to the royal line,  Lotties carries suspicions that Neverember paid scribes to find or create books that gave legitimacy to this claim; any books that cast doubts on it were burned.

As there is no legitimate heir to the Alagondar line. Neverember is holding his position as it's Lord Protector. 

It is understood by Lady Lottie, that Neverember previously was the Open Lord of Waterdeep. But since he moved across to take position of Lord Protector of Neverwinter... he has been passed in Waterdeep by  Laeral Silverhand. 

It is unknown what his relationship is with Laeral Silverhand. And the party only knows the name through common knowledge of governments in the area.

Lottie Corlinnar possibly fears and deeply dislikes this Dagult. She blames him for her parent's death and mostly all of her problems in her life.
