Floon Blaagmar
An escort and socialite, Floon skirts the boundaries of what is considered acceptable in Waterdeep noble society, but his innate charisma affords him a fair amount of leeway. He is a regular at the Yawning Portal and a close friend to Renaer Neverember and Volothamp Geddarm.
In a case of mistaken identity, Floon was kidnapped by a group of Manshoon Zhentarim who mistook him for his friend Renaer and taken to an old warehouse. While the thugs argued about a possible ransom, the storehouse was attacked by Xanathar guild members aware of the connection between the Neverembers and the fortune laying somewhere under Waterdeep. Floon was then kidnapped a second time, dragged into the sewers, and interrogated and beaten by the mind flayer Nihloor and his minions.
Floon came as D'arcy's date to Cassalanter Villa on the night of the Founder's Day Massacre.

Mental Trauma
Floon was traumatized by his kidnapping and subsequent beating, though he tries not to let on. He sustained a great deal of physical damage, enough that it could have put him out of work, but Volo pulled a favor to have him healed. He is grateful, but also feels guilty.
