Nemesis "Darkwalker" (a.k.a. Nemi)
Nemesis is a Monk who's hatred fueled her training since she was incredibly young after the destruction of her village and near death. She has primarily been raised by a mysterious "Father", "Dad", and "Daddy".
None of the parental figures seem to fully agree on HOW she should of been raised, and now she can be considered a rather eclectic individual.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
- Very physically fit, taunt with lean muscle. Generally well-rounded with muscle, though has a preference for knee kicks over throwing elbows.
- She is quite short, though rarely is it noticed.
- Her body does make an hour glass.
Body Features
- Several small scars, with one massive one that goes across her body from her right shoulder to her left hip.
- Does have to wear a hefty bra to keep things "stable".
Facial Features
- Sharper facial features with a few scars still scattered on her face. Her nose may be a bit crooked, but breaking it multiple times throughout the years has "fixed it" she would claim.
- She determines if her horns need shaving by whether or not she starts feeling the point by her ears.
Identifying Characteristics
- Left eye is a glowing golden.
- Massive tattoo that goes over the right side of her body from her hand to her foot.
Physical quirks
- Several rough gray hairs can be found in her hair. The length seems to mostly come from neglect, something she rarely pays attention to and clearly has started "trimming" herself.
- Her tail is thin and flexible, more for balance than any hitting or grabbing. Though she can control it, its prone to act on her emotions from wagging to tucking to curling around her leg.
- Movements often have a bounce to them, she almost always looks like she is ready to jump. Even when standing she will often bounce on the balls of her feet.
Special abilities
Nemesis doesn't actually think about if she would be considered "attractive" or not, considering that point irrelevant and rarely truly recognizes people's reaction to their physicality. Whether positive or negative.
Apparel & Accessories
- Generally keeps the same clothes and washes them with herself. Prefers to keep things that allow easy movement. She does like showing her stomach just to keep the scar visible.
- When she accessorizes, generally its using natural things like flowers, feathers, and rocks.
- The prayer beads she wears were Jonko's, given by Father. She has no spiritual connection to them, but she does worry about losing them when she isn't wearing them. She will continue to carry them when she finally decides to pack them away.

Personal history
Nemesis is reluctant to give details about her past, but the primary story she may be too willing to share.
She has very little memory of the time before the Raiders attacked, she only mildly remembers other siblings but the only two she knows their appearance absolutely is her Brother and her Mother.
After "escaping", she was found by Viktor and Jonko. Jonko pressed hard to save her and Viktor folded. The rest is more or less history as she lived and trained with them for many years. Once she was 16, she took the initiative to leave and start traveling. Her guardians gave their well-wishes and gifts, then she was gone.
The stories on the road are sparse, Nemesis trying to resist a single-minded hunt. She mostly settled in woods around towns, though was never too reluctant to talk to others though many did walk away knowing something was off. It was during these travels she came across Shori and they traveled a road together for a bit before separating again. It was common for her to follow behind merchants or a band of bards at a safe distance.
Trying to follow any trail of destruction, helping where she could, she eventually made it to Waterdeep where a whirlwind of events caused her to be sucked into the city itself.

- Nemesis doesn't think of their gender much, accepting the immediately assigned "female".
- She also hasn't really explored much of her own self, nor does she seem interested in doing so. If someone else claimed "she" was a "he", Nemesis would generally just shrug and accept that.

- She hasn't actually placed it. Nemesis openly flirts and teases though it is rarely too serious. Perhaps just a habit from learning communication from Father and his companions?
- Nemesis has developed feelings for men, but she is avoiding allowing those feelings to deepen.
- Though she does seem willing to flirt with women, she does seem to have a rather complicated relationship with them. Growing up without any women or girls around has seemed to have the impact of making Nemesis cautious subconsciously.

- Virtually no formal education. What she has picked up is clearly through osmosis and just watching others.
- Almost all "education" was focused on surviving in the elements.

Battle at Hluthvar
Nemesis
Attack initially happened against the Rebels, initially about 10 men with an Oni
They had additional men, another Oni, and lackeys of that Oni.
Additional groups attacked, its unknown how many independent groups there were and if there was some uniformity or if everyone had individual goals.
-2 Assassins, 1 Warlock with 3 death dogs, 1 Mage, 4 hell hounds, and a Erinyes on a Nightmare
Many soldiers were lost, priest/healers will killed almost immediately between the Oni and Warlock and/or Mage.
Warlock and Mage seemed indifferent or uncaring if they took out Rebels.
Enemies that survived and escaped:
Warlock, Mage, few Rebel Thugs, Erinyes and Nightmare
Erinyes seemed to be personally interested in challenging and testing Seria, but also wanted to test Keth. She removed Seria's left arm (we have a location of a prosthetic creator).
She left after a hard from Keth, though it seems to of done little to her. She stated they weren't strong enough yet and left.
A blink dog gave Keth a health potion to stabilize a downed Seria.
While investigating the bodies a day later, Nemesis found:
-Assassins had a Loki tattoo on their back, strikingly similar to Seria's
-Nemesis gathered 9 grunt, 1 captain, and 1 "thug" Rebel necklaces
-The Rebel Captain had a letter, but it was bare bones about "testing" the hold, hardly the level of attack that occurred, points to this being multiple different entities attacking at once but not together.
-Erinyes was likely sent by higher ups of some form, both from Nemesis' patron but also other deities. They feel betrayed by Erinyes and they may of came down harder than expected.
The group stays for an additional few days to recover, but their destination and direction has not changed.
Heading to the Hill of Lost Souls

Nemesis is signing to herself a lot, her way of quietly "talking to herself".
If anyone tries to watch, it does look almost meditative as she stares without seeing and just signs away with a mostly blank face:

Whenever she finishes what almost seems like a bizarre self-talking meditation, she'll take out one of the children's reading books and move to be alone with it.
This can occur when others are asleep, she's driving, or when others are getting ready to and she is starting off out the back of the wagon. She won't acknowledge others, it does seem to be her form of meditation.

CURRENTLY:
Currently at Hluthvar, an attack is occurring that appears to be Rebels. Around 10 men and 1 oni from the Reaching Woods.
Our direction is changing, Seddit has been here about 2 weeks ago, she is reading in the direction of the mountains. She may be taking the roads but its unknown fully what direction and where she may be heading.
The Rebel, Seddit, and this new possible goddess for Seria may be heading in the same direction
Looking for the Rebels and Seddit
-Fire Aasimar is potentially a Paladin/Cleric, seeking revenge of some kind, best avoid arguing about her beliefs or about Father in general
-Potentially after Father, period.
-Village destroyed by 1 woman, questions on there being slavery in the village. Unknown if this is the "Fire Aasimar", but it is suspicious and should stay noted.
-Rebels and Fire Aasimar are attacking, essentially, opposite villages
-Very scarred, seemingly purple (?), weird hands, and a Kossuth shield
6 Initial Survivors of Nightstone, Cloud Giants came to reclaim an Obelisk and there was a lot of collateral damage

May of Started Close to the Silver Marches, but can't confirm.
Rebel Leader/Talbot may be taking the Black Road at the moment, heading east/away from Waterdeep
Seddit/Fire Hands and the Rebel of the Gods are attacking different towns, likely their ideals greatly clash and its likely they won't get along.
Rebels rarely if ever are on the roads, currently a camp may be in the Reaching Woods.
One of the groups that is also attacking the Rebels is a Blue Thistle Group, potentially lead by Adad.
Rebel Leader/Talbot (?):
-May of been a loser, picked on and bullied. Jonathan may of seen him when the Rebel leader was a child but Jonathan dismisses the concept like he dismisses many things.
-Killiam was scared of the man, which could be telling or just a giant man in an alleyway is always scary, whichever.
-Said that the Rebel will attack religious villages and skip over non-religious villages, even if they are between two religious villages.
-Last heard that Talbot is "going north" and was last seen around The Fallen Lands, further updated that he is on the Black Road
-Nemesis' family may be a source of obsession on his side as well as on Nemesis' side. Whether from Nemesis' papa's family or the Romazi lineage from mama's side is unknown.

Sara: Rebel Lieutenant, family died in a raid done by the Rebel, older blonde sister at 23, was schmoozing with nobles but Nemesis caused interference. Her necklace was returned at the party after it “fell” out of her pocket. She believes she can poison the “Beast” from within, but that implies she was already eaten. You can't stop a fire from inside the house. She has been warned if they meet again and she or her sister is with the Rebels, she will be treated like any other Raider.
Emily: Rebel Grunt, family died in a raid done by the Rebel, younger blonde sister at 13, young fighter who originally helped Seria before her necklace was stolen by the group and never recovered by Sara.
Killiam/Kevin: Rebel General, was at the Dock Ward, no obvious sign of the necklace, but put up with a LOT before an altercation happened and Nemesis bailed, good at resisting questions but did have to find another brooding location
Oni: Have been seen working with the Rebels, additionally they have not been seen wearing necklaces at all, it may just be an alliance that can be broken or just Oni working for evil people to be evil. Currently unknown but they are intelligent enough to make their own decisions. Nemesis quite enjoyed her fight with one on the boat.

Plans/Plots:
Waterdeep was unwelcoming to the Rebels and they had to infiltrate in different ways
Whether this is normal for the group for larger cities is unknown and what their endgame was is also unknown. Many KNOW of the group, but rarely can give much information. The main names that had information was Three-Strings, Vajra Safhr, and a few Nobles.
Rebels were trying to move in on the nobles, which was interrupted pretty severely with the party, issues with Sara, and potentially a clear threat from Nemesis. Though the threat was never expanded because Sara and Emily never came to retrieve Emily's necklace.
Rebels moving in with the Zhentarin gang, the snake gang that Davil and Istrid were apart of. That there was less obvious disturbance that was done. Nemesis making her opinion known and spreading a rumor or two about the Rebels was the main thing done, it was not a secrete what Nemesis thought of them to Davil or Istrid, and she had helped both of them massively, being a major voice of being on their side during moments of need and granting Davil money far beyond necessary.
Killiam/Kevin was not properly taken care of, but he was clearly threatened with the level of damage he was given and Nemesis' persistence on stalking and making his reputation almost superstitiously bad for often sussy sailors. In addition, though Nemesis would never ask, her openness and fact she literally hand-wrapped someone for Jarlaxle means she is hoping they would be more aware of the docks and consider the Rebels deeply unwelcomed.
Between Nemesis and Keth, several camping sites were properly scared off or outright killed, which again aids in uprooting them.
Both in Daggerford and Way Inn, spread more rumors about "Talbot": "He's short and its illusionary magic" & "he shoves rodents up his ass" being the most successful.
Additionally told the Daggerford Tavern owner of Lady Luck to be aware the Rebels have started subtle infiltrating into cities like Waterdeep, so be aware and share that warning around.
Rebel group is said to be in Elturgard, they are trying to get into more and more cities, potentially also trying to get a boat
Jonathan was most dismissive, no real word of any Raid rumbles recently. Though Nemesis murmured about Jonathan's attitude is what gets villages destroyed, little else was done and the group moved on.
At Elturel, several seem more knowledgeable and are more aware as the Rebels are more active in this area.
Both the woman (possibly Fire Hands) and the Rebels are attacking villages, but different villages. It does seem to be their level of religious affiliation seems to determine which will attack.
There is also the possibility that the Rebels may be following the Woman and trying to catch her.
Hill's Edge had been completely taken over by the Rebel's, so the point it was unlikely to fully liberate them. They also took control of a local Ferry system which WAS very much destroyed by Team C.U.T.E to a devastating degree.
Instead, a plan of gathering small bits of information and causing chaos was picked and was pulled off successfully.
Nemesis has a rough map of the city and several pieces of information that she has stored away and can share if it would help in an attack.
Seria's side was more of an illegal animal trade, Nemesis' side was more damaged with temples to Cyric (an evil God) and Lliira (a joy Goddess) on opposite corners, both were destroyed.
2 seeds were planted, Seria's turning into a campfire with blue flames that hit the Major Fortress, and Nemesis' turned into a statue of herself saying rather unkind things about Nemesis and gave away their location for 24 hours before turning into a regular statue.
Additionally Nemesis set an oil fire onto an active tavern before running away.
Seria took in a lot on the less damaged side and successfully saved a prisoner "Rand Shawl", who works for Adad and whatever company is connected. Was successfully freed and lead away and able to escape, Nemesis shared very few words with them that were serious. He did ask about Ely village, which Nemesis gave little response and was dismissive.
A code word was given to prove loyalty for Adad's company, "DOG NOODLE"
While at Hluthvar, Nemesis shared her detailed map and information with a high official to try and give them an edge when they try to retake Hill's Edge. Nemesis is thorough in the information and clear about the damage that is done and presses to act sooner rather than later. The official did claim that a counter attack has been planned and is brewing, though it has yet to properly start, hopefully with the information more can be done and with a better counter attack.
Now, with Hluthvar being attack and word that the Rebels have used diversions in the past, Nemesis is highly suspicious that this is not just a group coming to pointlessly attack a fort. She's tried to make her feelings clear to Seria and Keth, they are on the front lines to help but Nemesis' head is on a swivel.

Nemesis continued the pursuit to put distance between her and the twins some, but she felt their gazes linger. She felt uncomfortable looking at them and did her best to ignore most details about them. Not much was asked because of the harassment, but in general one looked earthy/druid-like and the other was more protective of the other, both do seem capable for their age.
Peren: Drunken Sun Elf and family friend? Mistook Nemesis as Ada, a funny man who also suffered from loss thanks to the Rebels
Nija: Old ancestor, fought at the Hill of Lost Souls and somehow ended in a volcano. Was also a Warlock of Montero. Big emotions were felt during the "dream": Needing to protect and defend, remembering your family, sorrow, guilt, and anger. Nija did live through an arrow going into her chest. Montero wanted Nemesis to help release their soul.
Belin Shaim: A leader during the Hill of Lost Souls fight, had protected Nija and had a tight bond with her, met an unfortunate end and was restlessly trying to find Nija because Nija's body was lost within the volcano.
Nikore: Ancient relative, connected to Father. Warlock of Montero, could potentially be the first relative to make the deal or at least close to that. Likely an artificer or something else scientific first and became a Warlock later. It wasn't until after his "disappearance" that Father became more interested in artificer like inventing.
-Father was the "only one to understand" how he spoke, the man struggles getting across what he knows. Nemesis is trying and is offering to try and reword things in the future.
Father/Duke Viktor Shadowwalker, The Unvanquished (Vik): A Vampire of great power, though is currently cursed with Jon, a Monk who attempted to slay him and despite failing he has become a permanent thorn.

Amazingly, Father says the story is silly and made-up, which is remarkable given facts still aren't straight about it. He implores me to keep questioning things.

Viktor, Isha, and Viktor's wife came back from the Underdark, Nicor did not.
Viktor is the main one that created the Coins of very impressive power and refused to use the Artificer Coin/Wish.
