Caylin "Cay" Faberos

Caylin Farberos, or Cay as she likes to be called, is from an elfin city (Alma Caylori) in the mountain range to the north. Her father is currently on the city council and her eldest brother is planning to take over their father’s position once he steps down. Cay is number four out of five siblings (the only girl) and she and her middle brother are the ones training to be part of the guards in town. Their father has taught them how to use a long bow from the time were young and also taught them how to fight as he felt they had ample talent. Growing up, she and her brothers spent time running the forest mountain ridge and climbing trees. She was fond of spending time watching the wild animals. Cay is friendly and outgoing, never met a stranger in her life. Sometimes she lets a flirtatious side come out. Growing up, she disliked her bothers trying to take care of her, so she tries to show them that she is fiercely independent. This, in turns, makes her not a fan of when people take care of her even though she will help others. Lots of her decisions are based in emotion which is part of the reason she left home. In battle, she is good with a long bow but can also attach with her two handed weapons. Now coming to the age of being married off, Cay is resistant to the idea of an arranged marriage to one of the other leadership’s sons who is caught up in himself. She left home to avoid the change in her life, leaving and only telling her middle brother where she went. When people ask her where she is going, she tells them that she is planning on going to an elfin town near Nightstone to help train rangers with a cousin of hers. Cay is no stranger to people pointing out the cross-like birthmark on her forehead. It is centered on her forehead in a cross shape running from her hair line to the middle part of her nose and then across the tops of her eye brows. Not that she is ashamed of it but she is currently using makeup to cover it just in case word has gotten out that she has left home. Updated (07/26/2019) OTHER The dagger she owns is from her grandmother (father's mother). She was a ranger and Cay wants to follow in her footsteps of being a great fighter. The dagger is a keepsake of hers and will not give it up or sell it. In her childhood, she spent time learning Giant with one of her brothers for fun. They became pretty fluent and they can read, speak and understand the language. She does have a bad habit of splurge buying clothes, jewelry and food. A once small Mountainous clam which grew into a city from its isolation from Danger in the mountains. Although strangers are not uncommon, the mountain itself does a good job protecting the people of Alma Caylori.
