Trouble on the Home Front
General Summary
Lord Padraig has taken ill and is confined to bed. Lady Dupree is running the town in his stead. A mysterious noble from the south, Khan L’Baers, has been financing building projects in the town, but is implicated in suspicious actions as well, such as kicking Silk’s young mentee in the face, rabble rousing the locals against Triple T, and causing Padraig’s illness. Silk realizes that Khan L’Baers is an anagram for Hank Selbar, leading the party to check under Lord Padraig’s bed for the goblin charm Hank has used before. Destroying the charm ends Ernest Padraig’s illness, but his return to leadership is threatened by agents left in town bearing the tattoo of Balabar Smenk. The party averts their attempted terrorism.
