Where Dragons Lay
General Summary
In service of the Mage Mason, Estrellion, two parties of adventurers travel west from Highmoon to the forgotten hamlet of Winterhaven to investigate the disappearance of his nephew, an inquisitive young wizard. Danger lurked in the lands around Winterhaven, animated 'zucchini zombies' sieging the town, shady figures trading dragon bones, and a tribe of dim-witted but brutally cunning kobolds lead by an art-loving half-dragon, Ominak. The threats of Winterhaven took their toll, in the end leaving only four heroes standing: Hope, the mild-mannered cleric, Bak, the unassuming archaeologist, Quagim, the bombastic warlock, and Silk, the inscrutable archer.

Still unknown to the party, Ilthane aids in rescuing Fizbin’s spirit from the Ethereal plane after the pseudodragon is discorporated by Ominak’s lighting..
