Session 02: Mind Trip

General Summary

7/22/2020 The group awakens in a cart, outside of Waterdeep. There is a sense of friendship and a desire to increase fame and fortune. The group has their gold and gear. The goal is for bigger and better jobs. Silas leads the group to The Hanged Man, a tavern in the dock ward. Everyone gets a round of drinks. Tizoc runs into his “friend” Sybbyl. A combat between the two ensues. Misvari cheers them on. Tizoc knocks her out, along with her friend Trixi (who attempted a sneak attack). The group was directed to Keyla, who is looking for help. Her village was attacked by 60-70 goblins. Then a group of cultists, led by a man with no hand, came into the village. The leader had a hooded red cloak and was talking about a book that he lost. She is from Amphail - about a day's travel north of Waterdeep. There is word that the guards have work for taking out a band of goblins outside of town. The village was holding their own until a couple of hobgoblins appeared. Part of the group headed to the guild hall to speak with the guards. The other half of the group is looking for more coins. 5 S for every pair of goblins ears, 1 G for every hobgoblin. There is no information on a base. They are traveling south, following the Long Road. They hit Amphail about two weeks ago. There is rumor of Frost Giants in the North. Need to be a member of one of the guilds to get the collection. Silas is looking for an underground gladiator ring rumored to be under a blacksmith. Misvari is starting to question her desire to follow Silas. Nothing works quite right to enter Tizoc into battle. The group meets up at the Yawning Portal. Misvari runs into a Bard named Santander the Fabulous and plays a few songs. Silas is playing cards. The group is planning on eating/sleeping and then heading out in the morning. Create a list of provisions for next session.
