Session 03: Cocked, Locked, and Ready to Rock!..Maybe??

General Summary

7/29/2020 The group is at the Yawning Portal, planning for the trip to Amphil. The group spends the day gathering supplies for a merchant cover. Silas is very excited about the day’s activities. The group heads out to Amphail. Along the way, Morrigan shows everyone her magical hole. There is something on Saoirse that reacted badly with Morrigan’s hole.

The group is going to rest outside of town for the night. Most of the night passed uneventfully, with movement appearing along the road closer to the morning. Silas tried some of his freshly milked milk and ended up with food poisoning. The group has decided to head into town and find out more information about the one-handed man. Silas sets up shop to gather information from travelers. Rumors: many people are coming back in from hunting goblins during the night. They have yet to come across any goblins or trolls yet. Groups are disappearing in the mountains. There is no talk of cultists in town. Guards come out to see if the group has the correct paperwork for selling in the city. Amara flashes her Order pin to get an audience with the High Lord Roaringhorn. He purchases some of the alcohol at 3 times the cost for his birthday party. This gets the group permission to sell with a 1% tax. It is noted that everyone is carrying a very ornate and distinct dagger. Locals state that the city has been quiet for months. Amara feels like it is very similar to a dagger that Silas came across on our last adventure.
