Session 07: Boned

General Summary

8/26/2020 (8) We join our intrepid heroes trying to decide if we are going to attack the group. The consensus is to attack the group. Amara smashes the hobgoblin….his brain is no longer in his head. When Silas moves him, the image of the hobgoblin stays and Silas is dragging away a human. There is a staff, a small pouch and a dagger.
Staff of the Ilusionist EDIT SHARE WITH COMMUNITY DELETE Staff (quarterstaff), rare This staff allows you summon a major illusion creating up to or covering up to 4 Large creatures, 8 medium characters, or 16 small characters. You must be holding this staff to create the illusion and it will fade 1 min after you are no longer holding the staff. The illusions can not move more than 30 ft from the wielder. This can only be used once a long rest. Proficiency with a quarterstaff allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it. Notes: Versatile
Tizoc sets the dagger on fire and it melts into a gooey pile of metal. Silas brings the body back ensanguined. Morrigan spots a symbol on the guy. It is similar to ones she has run into with attacks on herself. She recommends leaving immediately. The group heads back to their camp and takes a long rest. It has been an eventful night. Morrigan’s “patron” said “Don’t call me a cult, I am so much more than that. And quit picking on my brother’s toys” She doesn’t trust the information. Stormclimber has a similar type dream - the day his mother died. The footprints come up in a pattern. They appear to be a large group but contain only 2-5 people. Silas uses the staff to disguise everyone. Stormclimber is investigating the gate, with Amara. He has a coin that glows light on one side and dark on the other side. Silas took etchings…. Morrigan gets a message about not being ready to see her brothers or go home. 3 questions: Gate goes to the lowest plane of the Hells. Town is not an illusion, more like a mansion. Someone is in a cage...didn’t want to give any information about the brother’s. Saoirse triggers on the mansion statement. Silas shot a blunt crossbolt at the glowy rock and hit it dead center. The crystal shatters, Silas has a wound exactly like the one he had when he stabbed himself. Morrigan’s “patron” is amused by this discussion. Saoirse goes through a door that appeared from a black piece of paper.
