Session 09: Get Down Mr. President

General Summary

The demon is in a grapple with Tizoc and now we need to decide what to do with him. Amara casts some sort of spell on it that causes it to go limp and stare at her blankly. She then asks about the daggers. “We are retrieving the chosen one, who is different from the others.” He looks towards Silas. The daggers are a control and he works for Asmodeus. The configuration is controlled by a disk that he had in his pocket. He then explodes and causes lots of necrotic damage to everyone close to him. Speak the name and start, to begin. Speak the name and end. Amara recommends leaving town. The group takes a long rest outside of town. At the end of the night, a hell hound is headed our way and looking for something. Combat starts. The hellhounds go down like chumps. I take the disk, and say both Amphail and Asmodeus and there was a pop and a change in temperature. The town is gone, but now there are just a cultist and some imps. They are being swarmed by the people who were in the friendly buffalo, who are attacking them. The group goes to join in the fight. The cultist is stopped from killing himself. He is knocked unconscious and stripped of all gear. A rune is spotted on his back, which is similar to the one that caused the other to explode. Morrigan finds another disk and two beads in his necklace. The second disk says “Say the name and veil or unveil” Stormclimber and Tizoc both jump on the body as it explodes. House Clifffell gives us a note and a house ring to state that they owe us a favor. We get half the cart equipment, the cart and Pepper. Tizoc tries to give our name to the group and can’t agree on one.

After Stormclimber says “asmodeus de-veil” the stone disappears and he has a rune on his hand. He now has an angry “friend” in his head. The group travels a few hours north and comes to the real Amphail.
