The Loving Buffalo

"Bring the family! Share the love!" - Poorly-worded advert for the Loving Buffalo

Overview

The Loving Buffalo tavern got its name not from the friendly farm girls that serve the ale, but from the herds of bison that facilitate the town's principal businesses. Occasionally, a wandering bovine would leave a herd and enter the town proper. Seeing many of the people it knows entering the tavern after their working day, the critter would happily follow along and try to go inside. Thus, there is a corral in front of the building where these adventuring buffalo can be fed, watered, and generally looked after until their owner can collect them.   Under no circumstances should one try to ride these buffalo. They are friendly, but only up to a point. The proprietors of The Loving Buffalo accept no liability for drunken buffalo-related antics.

Architecture

The Loving Buffalo is rather typical in many ways.  There is a spacious main room with a fireplace and entertainment stage, a large bar top, and several tables.  A second story provides lodgings for weary travelers, and there are even communal water closets on both the main and second floors.   Notable features include the above-mentioned buffalo corral and a spacious kitchen.
