Mordecai Mordkovich
Mordecai Mordkovich (a.k.a. Mordy, Fancypants)
An only-child, Mordecai left home at 13, as was customary, to find and write his epic life path. He wandered for a time, earning survival as an entertainer and refining his skills, eventually settling near the fortified city of Hluthvar where, one indelible day, he met the Lady, a beauty unlike any he had ever seen - hair as black as midnight, alabaster skin that glowed like moonlight, lips as darkened as her hair and purple eyes so deep and captivating he could not drop his gaze. They walked and talked as if lovers and, when he leaned in and she pressed her lips against his..."
Mordecai woke in a bed that was not his in a cottage he did not know in a town he did not recognise. And he was magic - he could feel it simmering under his skin.
And so he became Mordecai, the travelling magician and skáld in training. A reformed conman. An "introducer" to noble courts. A man who knows his greatest assets are his voice and wit, who woke up one day far away from the home he knew, imbued with sorcery he never had and is still trying to wrap his head around. What happened he cannot recall, but he remembers that kiss.

Apparel & Accessories
When in woodland, Mordecai chooses to exchange his more urban tunic for a simple linen tunic and brown leather jerkin.
Specialized Equipment
Mordecai's false identity Lord Alfred Bearington III requires Mordecai to dye his hair and beard black, using a black tar-like paste in his disguise kit.
Lord Bearington wears a white silk shirt (won from a Mulan in a rigged game of dice), with black inlaid leather jerkin, khaki jodpurs, black cape and wide brimmed black felt hat. While the identity was almost foolproof in his former home, Mordecai's unusual eye colour since his arrival in Faerun can often be a give away for those who have met him prior to meeting Lord Bearington
Mordecai, you know and love him. A travelling Skald in training. A reformed conman. An "introducer" to noble courts. A man who woke up far away from the home he knew, imbued with sorcery he never had and is still trying to wrap his head around.
