Proprietor of Winston's General Store, the largest supplier of general goods in Saltmarsh and one of the few businesses not owned by or leased from the Oweland or Solmor families, Winston has the cheery disposition typical of his kin, but remains a canny merchant and wiley bargainer. As a businessman trying to make a profit in a town where the best profits are made illicitly, Winston is not above making deals outside the law, although he is extremely vigilant about making sure he is never complicit in breaking them.
Winston is a relatively new fixture in Saltmarsh, having arrived a little under three years ago, apparently flush with funds and looking for an opportunity to use them to best effect. With the carpenter and blacksmith both flat out primarily serving the town's fishing industry, an opportunity to trade in day-to-day household items was perfect, and he has built a thriving business with almost no competition. His prices are about 10%-20% higher than the norm, but he generally only deals in quality items.
