Rue

Rue is a wide-bodied, slate-grey warhorse with a trimmed black mane and piercing, ice-blue eyes.
Rue's original owner is unknown, and was brought into Beregost Stables after he was found hitched to the stable by unknown means. His saddle contained a note which specified the horse's name and penchant for battle glory. It also explained that 'the countdown' had become too close for his owner's comfort, and Rue was being left at the stable as a means of containment.
Rue has a curious tick, counting down any time his designated rider kills a foe. Rue does not speak outside of this number. Shortly after his arrival at the stable, a rider reported him yelling the number 29 during battle. Rue has been lent to several riders since, most recently Rickemash. However, he has recently been retired by Stablemaster Kinta, as his current countdown rests at 3 and no one is sure what may happen when the countdown is complete.
