Vlatigor

Vlatigor is either a horse or a man, though it is unclear which. Physically, he appears as a regular man-- tall and extremely muscular with tanned skin and a mane of kinked black hair. However, he acts entirely horse-like and becomes depressed or enraged if treated as anything other. He prefers to sleep in barns or stalls, eats a hearty diet of oats and fruits, does not speak outside of neighs and whinnies, and wears minimal clothing as well as a bridle set complete with a shoulder-mounted saddle. Strangely, he is able to keep pace with normal horses fairly well.   No one is certain of Vlatigor's origin story, as he was found naked and wandering by himself along the Sword Coast by a passing scholar. The scholar was able to harness Vlatigor with a gentle touch and brought him to the Beregost Stables for housing, unsure where else to take him. Vlatigor remained well-tended to at the stable for several years before he was selected as a loaned mount for Yuan-ton, who now permanently owns him. Vlatigor appears to be intently bonded to the yuan-ti and sometimes suffers separation anxiety when away from his owner.   Vlatigor is branded on his left flank by a strange symbol, which remains unidentified. Vlatigor does not seem to like it when this brand is touched or investigated.
