4th Son of 7 to a disgraced general of the great wurm tribe, Röllo has struck out from the isolation of the worldspine mountains. Seeking Gold, Glory and a few more ticks in combat. He aims to restore his bloodlines position.

Mental Trauma

His father Gunnar, a celebrated and popular general of the tribes fighting class, lead a summer raiding party out into the peaks looking for orcs. 
Summer turned to fall and winter chased at its heels. The hardships took hold as the young family struggled on. Without the luxury of a successful raid and a missing father difficult decisions were to be made and Sigrid (Röllos mother) knew that it would be a hard lived winter. 
With the fear of the first winter storms looming darkly over the family, the local shaman directed the family to sacrifice a third of their remaining cattle as a dedication to Uthgar. A plea for Gunnar to make it back to them with a trove enough to chase away the encroaching darkness. Seven small offerings of favoured play things and sweet treats went to the fire with the cattle.  
Cold frozen tears. Fewer mouths to feed. 
The release of spring brought with it a freedom from confined grief and the chance for Sigrid to properly lay to rest her three youngest children. 
Not a week later, cries sounded through the settlement. Gunnar had returned. 
Only momentarily able to see his family across a crowd of other demands and questions being hauled by his ragged pauldron before the chief. Doors quickly slammed shut, only the adults allowed in. 
Gunnar was accused of and punished as a coward being the only one to return home. His mother lived only a few more years with the weight of the shame and stigma, just long enough to see her youngest, Röllo, into a young man.
