Tanamere's Dragon Slayer Sword - "Stormsbane"
Lady Tanamere Alagondar of Neverwinter was a noble of the Royal House of Alagondar and a paladin of Torm, God of Duty.
She and her companions fought and killed a blue dragon called Azarzhel, the Storm of Swords, that had terrorised the Sword Coast. Her magical greatsword was woven with enchantments making it a bane of dragons.
The sword is wrought of starmetal forged in the fires of Mount Hotenow and etched with magical runes of abjuration and enchantment. It's pommel bears an azure sapphire and the hilt is wrapped in blue dragon leather. The sheath of the blade is of the same blue leather and bears the following inscription, picked out in silver.
"Blessed be The True. Praised be Your Name.
I seek Your Wisdom to follow Your steps.
I seek Your Courage to face Your enemies.
I seek Your Resolve to face Your judgement.
Assist me in the fight against my own shadows and fears.
Assist me in casting away the uncertainty and doubts.
Assist me in my quest to find inner peace.
Let us bring the light of Justice where darkness awaits.
Let us bring the strength of Loyalty when the battle seems lost.
Let us bring the Mercy of the Triad to those who are suffering.
Praised be Your name."
