Level 5: The Wyllowwood
A lush green forest, a babbling brook, great towering trees, the sun shining down on you through the leaves. Wait we are still underground? Located past the Twisted Caverns the magical woodland of the Wyllowwood is a challenge for 8th level adventurers and above.
This level is reached by taking the River of the Depths, an off shoot of the River Sargauth, first diverging in Skullport and passing through the Twisted Caverns. The Wood is a large chamber that acts as a simulacrum of the surface world.
The ruler of this level is the Archdruid Wyllow. She is a moon elf druid and the controller of the seasons and the weather on this level. She is generally cordial to adventurers peacefully passing through her level. Then again getting an adventuring party to pass through a literal fantasy wonderland without breaking something is a hard task.
One of the other inhabitants is Tearulai a neutral good green dragon, what. That unusual alignment may have something to do with the sword in his head. He acts as Wyllow's enforcer when a draconic touch is needed.
Strange fluttering sounds and small creatures have been seen in the stone structures down south. They appear to be some kind of goblinoids.
