Xanmendi

A eladrin of a wintery disposition in debt to Halaster. He was recruited to manage the garrison of the Frozen Fortress and guard the map of the Ice Spikes.

The reason for his indentureship to Halaster is a bet that he made with the Mage Mage. Halaster had made a visit to the Feywild for an unknown reason, most likely gathering monsters. While there Xanmendi made a bet with Halaster about the outcome of a race between them. In true fey fashion the looser would owe a favor to the other. Xanmendi thought he would win due to his natural Fey Step and Halaster was in the guise of a naïve young man.

Halaster however just casted teleport and easily won. He threw off his disguise and Xanmendi realized the mistake he made. He languished thinking of what would happen when his favor was called upon. Due to the nature of eladrin this turned him into a wintery state. Luckily Halaster had a wonderful winter wonderland planed for him to guard.
