Adamantine

Adamantine is an extraordinarily hard metal found deep underground in the Underdark near earth nodes, and rarely in meteorites. Adamantine is often smelted into an alloy that can be used to construct ultra-hard items such as weapons, armour, constructs, or in some cases buildings. Virtually all smiths capable of smelting adamantine are dwarves. The alloy is composed of five parts adamantine, two parts silver, and one part electrum, but the specific process to create the alloy is a closely guarded secret.
