Myth Drannor

The city of Myth Drannor (also known as Cormanthor, the City of Song, the City of Love, and many other names) was the capital of the ancient elven kingdom of Cormanthyr. For nearly four thousand years it was considered to be the peak of knowledge, culture, and civilisation in Faerûn, until its destruction in 714 DR.
During the late 14th and early 15th centuries DR, there was a brief attempt to rebuild the city. However, it was ruined for a second time in 1487 DR when the Netherese enclave of Thultanthar crashed into Myth Drannor, destroying both cities.
