A few days after it was overrun by goblins, Nightstone was cleared of invaders by Sariel Liadon and Aial Vock Tal, who met up with the keep's defenders and took the fight to the enemy. They managed to rescue most of the townsfolk from goblin captivity in caves a mile from the town.
