Sariel is hired by Lady Faestra Aldra to recover what she claimed was stolen property. But when Sariel found the artifact she was hired to steal back, she found it was a powerful magic item. When she refused to hand it back, Lady Aldra had her hired goons - who Sariel knew from her time in the Guild - subdue the half-elf and take the artifact.
