General Summary
Diverting from the path
After determining they needed more support before challenging the wizard Pow Ming in Yartar, the party opted to follow the clues from the Halfling, Roderick and seek the legendary weapons rumored to be contained in the dungeon under White Plume Mountain.Blackrazor
The party took the left path in the dungeon toward unknown dangers contained within. They managed to overcome the first two puzzles with minimal difficulty. Once they found the inverted ziggaraut, the party found their fist major challenge. The ensuing battle nearly ended some of the party members, but ultimately the Muffins prevailed over the denizens of the ziggaraut.
Immediately following that battle, the group discovered the quarters of a halfling warrior known as Quesnef. Quesnef showed his hand by attempting to charm Kaz. The Muffins retreated and used the water of the aquarium to trap Quesnef in side of his room.
After that retreat, the Muffins advanced into the quarters and found Quesnef in his true form. The oni joined battle, appearing and disappearing repeatedly, but ultimately was unable to defeat the party. After the battle, the party searched his quarters and found a number of treasure items, magical rings, and a sentient scythe called Blackrazor. Kauth took possession of the weapon, and started her path of grappling with the immense power contained within.
