Session V Report

General Summary

The Four adventures started this session eating breakfast at the Stonehill Inn.   They contemplated traveling north to Thundertree in the search for a druid named Reidoth the Druid. Rumos tell that Reidoth know the location of Crackmaw castle and where thus the apparent location of Gundren Rockseeker. Before leaving north, the adventures were approached by Sildar Hallwinter who handed them a bag of holding containing provisions for the journey. Sildar also provided the adventures with horses to ease the travel north.   Following the Triboar Trail east and eventually the Golden road north the adventures headed towards Thundertree. Following directions from Sildar, the adventures traveled into the Neverwinter Woods and eventually found the ruined city of Thundertree.   Thundertree was laid in ruins and overgrown with "living" vegetation and zombies. The adventures searched the city for Mirna's Heirloom and encountered several decapitated Dragon Cultists in a ruined building just south of the town square. The town square was occupied by a giant tree growing from a reddish swap. The adventures proceeded to search buildings covered in spiderweb and after fighting two giant spiders the adventures found Mirna's Heirloom. Further searching the town lead to the discovery of an immovable rod hidden away in the ruins of a building. Near the end of the day the adventures encountered Reidoth and convinced him to let them stay in his make-shift home on top of a building in the outskirts of town.   Reidoth informed the adventures about a Green dragon who has recently made a lair in the city and the cultist who seemingly come to make tribute to the dragon. Reidoth agreed to show the adventures the location of Crackmaw and he would also show them the location of the wave echo cave Phandelve's Pact but the latter would require a significant investment from the adventures; removing the dragon from the city.
