Olladra

Olladra is a goddess of the Sovereign Host. The Sovereign of Feast and Good Fortune, Olladra is the wife of Onatar and the mother of Kol Korran and the Keeper. She is worshiped by bards, rogues, gamblers, hedonists, merchants, and any who seek good fortune. Even her most devout Vassals cannot come to grips with why she chooses to bless or curse on a whim.   As an overdeity, she did not truely have a physical form. However she was usually depicted in statues as a barefoot, crafty-faced, tomboy with brunette hair. Other well known depictions were a young halfling woman, or an ancient black dragon.

Divine Domains

Olladra was known to embody the domains of Good Fortune, as well as Feasting.

Holy Books & Codes

Olladra had no true holy books or codes, instead, she simply told her followers to routinely test their luck.

Divine Symbols & Sigils

A domino, or the Octogram in white and dark gray, representing both good fortune and bad. (The pattern on Olladra’s Octogram is reversed from the pattern on Aureon’s to avoid confusion, as the colors are very similar.)

Tenets of Faith

Olladra accepts any valuables but looks more favorably on sacrifices of items acquired through luck, such as gambling winnings or “found money.”

Divine Goals & Aspirations

Unknown, Olladra was said to be a very fickle god, with priests not knowing why she did what she did.

Personal history

Olladra is one of the Sovereign Host, a pantheon of originally fifteen overgods, and later nine overgods that hold sway over mortal life.   At the very beginning, Olladra was one of fifteen members of the Sovereign Host. However, there became a Schism between the good gods and the evil gods. Some believe that the schism occurred when the Devourer raped his sister Arawai, though others believed the Schism happened earlier. The six evil-aligned Sovereigns were banished from the Sovereign Host, including Olladra's own son Kol Turrant. The six deities became known as the Dark Six, with Kol Turrant taking the name "the Keeper."
