Azdraka (Az-drak-a)

Azdraka was a green dragon who was slain by Lady Tanamere Alagondar and several adventurers in the late 14th century DR.
Azdraka terrorized the High Road south of Neverwinter during the late 14th century DR. Attacking caravans, travellers and on occasion ships in the sea of swords. Eventually he became such a nuisance that Neverwinter began to notice, as shipments failed to arrive and noble members wree killed on the high road.
This prompted Lady Tanamere, a member of Neverwinter's royal family, to rally two parties of adventurers to slay the dragon. The fatal blow was struck by Lady Tanamere with her sword in the roof of the Azdraka's mouth, however the move sealed her fate also and she was gravely wounded. Shortly after the adventurers and Lady Tanamere were buried inside Azdraka which formed the shel of the burial site.
By the late 15th century DR, most common folk seemed to have forgotten both Azdraka's and Lady Tanamere's names, but some still recalled the legend of their battle and the location of their shared tomb.
