Order of the Gauntlet

The Order of the Gauntlet is a coalition of morally upstanding warriors, knights, paladins and clerics who dedicate themselves to the destruction of evil in Faerûn. They are a unified group, bonded by either their fervent religious beliefs or staunch dedication to enforcing justice in the realms. To these brothers and sisters in arms, evil has to be dealt with and could not be ignored.
As part of their duties the Order of the Gauntlet remain vigilant against any potential threats to the Realms, standing ready to stop any aggression. When necessary, they investigat potential threats or secretive organizations, and watch over those creatures they see as inherently evil.

Faith is a member's most potent weapon against evil Great challenges require heroic demonstrations of both strength and valor It is justified to punish an act of evil, not a thought or feeling

Structure

The Order of the Gauntlet has five ranks assigned to all their members: Cheval, Marcheon, Whitehawk, Vindicator, and Righteous Hand. Vindicators were most often the heads of regional bases for the Order, such as the Vindicator of Waterdeep or Elturel, while there was rarely ever more than one Righteous Hand.
