Finely embroidered blue kerchief: When laid out, the kerchief has two sides. Both sides are maps of stars and constellations, but one is embroidered in plain white thread and matches the night sky of Faerun. The other side has each constellation embroidered in a different, brilliant color, and the thread glows with ethereal light. The stars on that side are unfamiliar to most.
Sailor's outfit: Usually seen wearing a finely made sailor's outfit--fit for a ship's captain even. In fact, it's so gaudy and on-theme that it looks a little bit like dress up clothes...

Personal history
Born the fifth child to a prosperous Waterdhavian merchant family, Adriene had the pick of what to do with her life. Her family had plenty of money and she had very few responsibilities. She spent most of her time studying astronomy and astrology and preparing to take her place in Waterdeep’s society. She enjoyed both her hobby and her social standing and never thought about doing much else with her life.
For her 20th birthday, Adriene’s father paid for her to take a trip to Candlekeep to further her studies of the stars. She was thrilled.
However, on the way to Candlekeep, her ship was besieged by a strong storm. When the ship emerged, it was no longer on the Material Plane. The storm had changed the ship’s course and pushed it through a portal to the Feywild. The ship’s crew and passengers, including Adriane, spent the next six months navigating the Feywild and attempting to return home.
The stars were entirely different from those on the material plane, and navigation became an issue. Adriene took up navigation and star charting as her personal task, stitching the strange new star chart into a kerchief she wore around her neck. The mystical nature of the fey deepened her studies and charmed her with its beauty.
Eventually, Adriene was able to find a discrepancy in the star chart that coincided with a portal back to the Material Plane. The ship returned, and found that hardly a day had passed since its departure six months ago.
Adriene made her way to Candlekeep, and spent her tenday there studying not only the stars, but the Feywild as well. Armed with new and exciting knowledge, she returned home and informed her family that she was going to become a sailor, searching for new portals to the Feywild.
Reluctantly, her family saw her off at Waterdeep’s docks, where she had found employment as a ship’s navigator. She found her way inland, working on different ships and eventually a captain of hers brought her to Riverguard Keep, where she began to suspect some fishy business--and not the normal kind.
