Council Of Waterdeep

The Council of Waterdeep is the governing body of the city of Waterdeep in Faerun. 
It is made up of a group of powerful and influential individuals known as masked lords who remain anonymous, each representing a different aspect of the city's political, economic, and social interests. 
The masked lords have the final say on all important matters affecting Waterdeep, including the administration of justice, the maintenance of the city's infrastructure, and the defense against external threats. 
They are served by a corps of agents and enforcers, known as the Watch, who enforce the laws and keep order in the city. 
Despite the secretive nature of the masked lords, the Council of Waterdeep is widely respected for its fair and just rule, making Waterdeep one of the most prosperous and influential cities in Faerun.
