Skullport

Skullport is a large underground city located beneath the city of Waterdeep in the Sword Coast region of Faerun. It is a hub of criminal activity, and is known for its thriving black market, illegal trade, and corrupt dealings. Despite being located beneath the seemingly law-abiding city of Waterdeep, Skullport is a dangerous and lawless place, with rival gangs and criminal organizations vying for power and control.   Despite its reputation, Skullport is also a hub of commerce, with merchants and traders from all over the Sword Coast coming to trade in its bustling markets and bazaars. The city is home to many powerful criminal organizations, including thieves' guilds, smuggler rings, and assassin's guilds, all of whom seek to expand their power and influence within the city.   The city is ruled by a council of powerful criminal leaders, known as the Lords of Skullport, who work to maintain order and stability within the city. However, their rule is tenuous, and the city is constantly beset by power struggles and internal conflict as various factions seek to gain the upper hand.   Despite its dangers, Skullport remains a hub of commerce and illegal trade, and is considered a necessary evil by many merchants and traders who rely on its markets and resources. Whether facing threats from rival gangs or the wrath of the law-abiding city of Waterdeep above, the people of Skullport are determined to survive and thrive, no matter the cost.   The Lords Of Skullport   The Lords of Skullport are the ruling council of powerful criminal leaders in the city of Skullport, located beneath the city of Waterdeep in the Sword Coast region of Faerun. The exact number and composition of the Lords of Skullport can vary, as new leaders rise to power and old ones are deposed or killed. However, the Lords are typically made up of some of the most influential and powerful figures in the criminal underworld of Skullport, including heads of powerful thieves' guilds, leaders of smuggler rings, and powerful black market traders.   Together, the Lords of Skullport work to maintain order and stability within the city, settling disputes between rival gangs and criminal organizations, and ensuring that the flow of illegal goods and commerce remains uninterrupted. However, the Lords are constantly beset by power struggles and internal conflict, as various factions within the city seek to gain the upper hand and expand their influence.   Despite the danger and lawlessness of Skullport, the Lords of Skullport are respected and feared by those who live and work within the city, and their rule is seen as necessary for the survival and prosperity of the criminal underworld beneath Waterdeep.
