The Sword Mountains
The Sword Mountains are a range of mountains located along the Sword Coast of the Forgotten Realms. They stretch from the northern reaches of Waterdeep in the west to the Spine of the World in the east.
The mountains are known for their rugged terrain, abundant minerals, and dangerous creatures.
The dwarves of the region have carved out many underground fortresses and mines in the mountains, which have attracted the attention of adventurers and treasure seekers. The Sword Mountains are also home to several infamous pirate dens, hidden valleys, and the infamous Underdark, a massive network of underground caverns and tunnels.
Travelers are advised to be wary, as the Sword Mountains can be a treacherous and dangerous place to explore.
