Grindell is 105 years old, frail and declining in health. He can act rather befuddled now and again, but that just adds contrast to his normal sharp intelligence. He is a rather powerful wizard (20th level) but his strength and constitution or now in the negative bonus range. He rarely casts 8th level spells and up. Casting wish again may be the last spell he ever casts.
