Rapier

Proficiency with a rapier allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it. Rapiers deal 1d8 piercing damage on a hit.
Finesse. When making an attack with a rapier, you use your choice of your Strength or Dexterity modifier for the attack and damage rolls. You must use the same modifier for both rolls.
