HotDK 1: "Greenest in Flames"

Whilst travelling to the town of Greenest with others you met along they way, you saw from a distance that the town was being attacked by a Blue Dragon as well as a large group of raiders that were looting the town.   Malice (the Tiefling in your group) having been here before knew that the townsfolk would be heading toward the Keep at the center of town - clearly visible as the tallest structure and also due to it sitting upon a hill as well.   On your way to the Keep you encountered the Swift family (Linan, her husband Cuth, and their 3 children) being chased by a pack of 8 Kobolds. You helped the family by dispatching the Kobolds, but not before Linan was knocked unconscious. You were, however, successful in being one of the last groups to make it into the Keep before the guards were forced to bar the gates.   After speaking with Governor Nighthill as well as Guard Commander Escobert, you agreed to try to capture one of the raiders for questioning, an officer if at all possible. To that end, Escobert gave your group a key to a secret tunnel that runs from the Keeps cellar to the stream bed 200 or so feet south of the Keep.   As luck would have it, upon exiting the tunnel, you set upon a party of Kobolds and their apparent human handlers that were searching the stream bed and surrounding bushes for any townsfolk that might be hiding there. After a brief battle, the Kobold and one of the humans were left dead, but the remaining human was taken prisoner and carried back through the tunnel so that the Governor and Commander could question him.   Rewards Granted Experience Rewards: "Seek the Keep" 8 Kobolds 25XP ea + 4 Commoners rescued at 50XP ea. = 400XP divided evenly   "Prisoners" Captured 1 cultist = 25XP per PC Defeated 1 cultist @25XP + 3 Kobolds @25XP ea. = 100XP divided evenly Total XP for session 1 = 500XP /5 PCs = 100XP per PC + 25XP each == 125XP each   Missions/Quests Completed Completed "Seek the Keep" and "Prisoners" Have key to the tunnel and have jury rigged the outer gate to no longer need the Dex roll to open it. Time of Day in game = ~11pm
