Pubert finds that the bottom step of the stairs leading down into the mossy, mushroom covered, area below the entry way is trapped when it gives way under him and he finds himself sliding into a growth of Violet Fungi. After dispatching the Fungi the group discovers another larger area and tunnels leading north and south.
Taking the south tunnel takes you into what is clearly a dragon shrine, where none other than Langderosa Cyanwrath himself, and one berserker henchman await. Langderosa remembers Pubert from their battle in Greenest and combat ensues. This time though, honorable single combat is ignored, and the group works together to bring down Langderosa with Pubert, rather fittingly, getting the killing blow by splitting Langderosa's skull with his great-axe. Likewise, the berserker henchman is also dispatched, with Rargir once again showing his prowess with the crossbow by placing a bolt behind his ear.
This chamber has been enlarged and reshaped from its original form. The floor and three of the walls are smooth, and stalactites and stalagmites have been polished into gleaming columns. Every surface glistens with moisture, and the air is warm and humid. The flat walls of the chamber are decorated with shallow abstract carvings of dragons. Dragons' tails coil into intricate patterns and knots that flow across the walls.
The creature portrayed in the northwest corner stands out: a five-headed dragon, rising from an erupting volcano. Other dragons, which seem dwarfed by the five-headed monstrosity, flock to its side. A small, wooden chest with silver and mother-of-pearl inlays sits on the floor in the corner, in front of the monstrous dragon carving.
