Everlasting Rime

The Everlasting Rime, or the Endless Winter, is the name used by Ten-Towners to refer to the time period where Auril The Frostmaiden plunged all of Icewind Dale into perpetual twilight and perpetual winter by casting a nightly spell that would prevent the sun from rising over Icewind Dale.
