Deadly Forests

There are many forests within the valleys of Barovia though all of them are simply named "The Slavich Woods" due to the differences between them all being negligable and the locals determining that they are all equally dangerous for the regular people. They simply do care to differentiate between any of them. 

Ecology

Even the trees are hunting us!

There are a large variety of horrible things prowling in the thick foggy woods. Which include

• Zombies 
• Wolves 

Wolves, dire wolves, and werewolves prowl the Svalich Woods, and hungry bats fill the skies at night

Towering trees, whose tops are lost in heavy gray mist, block out all but a death-gray light. The tree trunks are unnaturally close to one another, and the woods have the silence of a forgotten grave, yet exude the feeling of an unvoiced scream.
