Captain Darmin Zodge (a.k.a. Darmin Cooper)

Darmin Zodge is a forthright, and straight to the point Captain of Flaming Fist patrols in Baldur's Gate's Eastway neighborhood.
Darmin's family name is actually Cooper, a low-class name for sure. However, his duties and abilities as a motivated officer of the city's main force of law brought him quickly into the sights of several patriar families, including the Zodges. It was through these dealings that he met Liliana Zodge, who he quickly fell for. Upon their marriage, Darmin officially took his wife's last name, in hopes of increasing his profile in the city's political circles.
Captain Zodge has a reputation for handling difficult situations in the most brutal and effective way possible. His men are encouraged to enforce the city's laws however they see fit, making sure the locals understand that order is paramount in his neighborhood. He and his men are quick to take out any civilian instigators so that any mob's anger turns to fear quickly. Zodge approaches every situation with the intent of subduing it in the most timely and effective way possible, leading to beatings, deaths, and other public displays of Flaming Fist authority. Bribery is of course possible, if the situation is subtle enough to allow for it.
