Konrath, of The First Flame

History

While not one of the first, Konrath is one of the oldest dragons still alive in the world. Infused with the essence of the first fear of fire, he was the first dragon to be born with pure red scales. Much more importantly, however, is that as a Wyrmling he was the first to develop the ability to breath fire. This became the most effectivetool of fear that any Dragon had ever manifested at the time, and Konrath very quickly grew into his Explorer age. He traveled as wide as he could possibly roam, spreading terrible destruction and despair in his wake. So profound was the effect this had on the populace of the world that the belief of a Dragon breathing fire became ingrained into the very essence of creation. Upon him reaching adulthood, Konrath had changed the nature of Dragons forever as each new Wyrmling since then has had some inherent breath-weapon at their disposal.
